Arrest in Fatal Hit-and-Run in Newark
The Newark Police Department have made one arrest in connection with the hit-and-run death of a little girl. The car took off from the scene at South Orange Avenue and Columbia Avenue in the city's West Ward. The 5-year-old girl was crossing the street outside her home with her sister at around 8:30 p.m. when she was hit, police said.
